We got some donuts, they were the old fashioned style, fresh and lovely. The Apple fritter was really quite excellent, full of flavor and spice, crunchy and glazed with a soft cinnamon layered interior. Could be the best I've had, but I love apple fritters.

On my venture here upon the bakery's weekday opening time, I came back twice and each time I was told 30 minutes more. Thankfully my patience was not in vain. This bakery is amazing and so are the donuts. The donuts tasted like heaven on a warm day! I ordered two dozen donuts and the varieties were a real hit with my staff. My favorite flavors were the coconut and toasted coconut. The donuts were the perfect size and the sweetness was just right. The donuts generously covered with toppings, fresh out the frier were irresistible.Treat yourself!

My friend and I went to the Walgreens a few doors down and then spotted this bakery and decided to visit. The interior is fairly small, but they carry a lot of products, from baked goods both sweet and savory to cakes and pies. The prices are reasonable. I bought two donuts. This is a family-owned and small business so definitely support local!

I visited the place and the owners changed, but they still carry the name and flavors. Martha was very polite and friendly. She gave me her recommendations. I got half a dozen of donuts. They were very good. I haven't tasted all of them yet. They also have a lot of baked items. All the prices are very reasonable. Overall an amazing local place, I would definitely go again.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but we got what I might call a gem here! I've come a long way in my donut journey and established my favorites, and it looks like I have another to add! The only reason it crossed my radar is because a good friend of mine just had to send me an Instagram video one morning of a Korean brioche donut being made fresh. That is explicit food content right there! Since I wasn't even out of bed, I immediately wanted donuts for breakfast -- but I didn't want any of the Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme that I'm surrounded by! On a broad map scan of a 7 mile radius, that's all I could see! Upon further inspection however, I noticed a little bakery in Beltsville. Located right off of exit 25 on Route 1 North, Raulin's Bakery doesn't seem to have much curb appeal, as the big sign in red letters just reads BAKERY. There's a more artistic sign on the window itself, which can be hard to view depending on the angle of the sun. Right inside, is a beautiful display of pastries and desserts, such as cannolis, croissants, and... DONUTS. To be almost noon, I was pleased with how many donuts were still available. There's more flavors than I can name, so please refer to my picture. I decided to get a peanut butter donut and maple nut donut. The PB one was different... Others I've had in the past usually have a PB glaze, and then maybe jelly on the inside. This one had a chocolate glaze, and had PB-flavored creme on the inside... Fascinating!!! And to make it even more interesting, the creme had a crunch! I'm assuming the crunch came from the same nuts that are on the maple glaze of the maple nut donut. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with both of these... not the #1 best for me, but leagues above Dunkin & KK and well enough that I want to bring all of my donut-loving friends! And with Amish Market-ish prices, I will gladly come back here when I don't feel like waiting until Thursday-Saturday & tight hours for the Amish Market, or trekking all the way to DC in any given day. A ~10 minute drive is a much better deal yeah? I will also be trying their other baked goods.
